SOLD
c. 1960's Japanese -manufacturer unknown, dachsund.   When wound, dog walks.   Plastic body covered with synthetic plush.  Length 5", height 3.25"(approx. 13cm x 8cm).   Good condition.  Fully working.  £12.  (Key available separately - see footnote).
c. 1920's rare German clockwork monkey.   Composition body covered with mohair, wooden legs covered with mohair and wooden feet covered with felt.    Felt face, ears and hands.   Glass eyes and painted face features.    Monkey holds mirror in one hand (the mirror may have been replaced at some stage).   When wound, one arm swings up and down, the tail moves up and down, thus giving the impression that the monkey is pleased to see itself in the mirror!   6" (15cm) tall.   Excellent condition.
